ISSUES
REQUESTING FIELDS
A. First
learn the rules:
-
First
contact Paul Mast at pjamesonmast@aol.com
or (201) 760-0161 to advise
him that your game has been cancelled. He will then
complete the necessary papers to submit to the
league.
-
Talk with
the opponent's coach to agree on a few possible
reschedule dates.
-
Check
availability of ALL players on your team before
committing.
-
Don't
assume a field is available because schedules may not
be accurate. Request your field and we'll advise of
issues.
-
Please do
not attempt to schedule a game during the week as this
will disrupt the practice schedules. If at all
possible reschedule on weekends. Weekdays should be a
last resort.
-
Try not to
create a gap between games if other rec games are
scheduled at that field. Attempt to place your game
adjacent to another rec game (leaving only a 1/2 hour gap
before and after) - for referee assigning
purposes.
-
Do your
research before asking for a slot... make sure that
the only reason you might be denied a request is
because someone else beat you to it and it hasn't been
posted on the Web yet.
-
Ken Polish
will arrange for referees.
B. Then determine availability:
-
All rec
games played on Lions East (large field), Lions West
(smaller field) and Hess Court
-
Check if enough
sunlight (games can end at sunset):
Sep - Oct -
Nov
-
Check USR
HOME game listing for availability. (This listing
includes Americans games because we share fields.)
C.
Finally complete the the form below
IMPORTANT:
If you don't get a confirmation e-mail within a day
